Venues of the 2006 Asian Games
The 2006 Asian Games, officially known as the XV Asiad, were held in Doha, Qatar from December 1 to December 15, 2006. A total of 13,000 athletes from 45 nations in the Asia competed in 424 in 39 sports. The games were the largest international multi-sport event to be staged in Doha and in Qatar. Events took place at 21 competition venues. Other venues in the games included the Asian Games Village and the Main Media Center.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 title=DOHA 2006 )
